File Clerk

The City of Bel-Ridge is looking for a part-time file clerk, to organize and maintain filing system.


Primary responsibilities:


File records in alphabetical and/or numerical order.

Retain, transfer and destroy records as set forth in Court Operating Rule 8.

Scan records to be entered into computer for electronic database.

Use scanners to convert forms, receipts records and reports into electronic format.

Import, name and properly save scanned forms, receipts, records and reports.

Work with electronic storage media such as hard drives, floppy drives and CD-ROMs.

Ensure records are properly filed.

Ensure no materials in records are lost.

Ability to explain filing system to personnel.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.


This is a part-time position; 10-12 hours per week.  Record/File Clerk experience preferred.  Day(s) of availability are flexible.  Preference of an 8(eight) hour work day and the other day a two(2) to four(4) hour work day.
