Bel-Ridge Police Department Community Outreach

The Bel-Ridge Police Department has made great strides in connecting with the community by teaching, mentoring, and guiding our youth to become better and responsible citizens. We put forth great effort in providing the following programs: Canned Food Drive, Shop With A Cop, Mentoring, Kid Safe Program,  Coffee with A Cop, and many more. If you would like to get involved in your community and make a difference, contact us!

Monthly Coffee With A Cop

Every month the Bel-Ridge Police and our area gas stations host a Coffee With A Cop Event where our officers serve coffee and food to the community. Coffee With A Cop is a great way to get to know the officers and the community. CWAC Pic

Kid Safe Program

Started as an idea by one of our officers, the Kid Safe Program provides quality safety training to 5-7 year old kids in our community on topics such as Stranger Danger, Crossing Busy Streets Safely, Helping Others, Respect For Yourself and Others. Kid Safe is a cooperation effort with the Normandy School District and the Bel-Ridge Police Department to ensure the future of our community looks safer and brighter!

Shop With A Cop

This year the City of Bel-Ridge Police Department will be participating in Shop with a Cop, sponsored by Dollar General And Hucks Gas Station. The Police Department will be accompanying needy children to buy up to $150.00 worth of Christmas present at local shops. This program brings smiles and happiness for all who participate. If you want to be involved please email us!
